I am currently in Canada , I got refused as a refugee claimant and today I  attended a meeting where I got the PRAA. I got married 2 months ago with my same sex partner and we are ready to submit the sponsoring package but I got couple questions and I was wondering if someone in the forum could help me.

First could I apply for PRAA and sponsorship at the same time? Inland or outland? how would that work?
Or if instead of Appling for PRAA I leave the country and I apply outland for the sponsorship

In many cases you are better to leave voluntarily, then apply outland.

You have to make the choice.
PRRA is not likely to be easy.

SAY NO TO PRRA AND LEAVE CANADA IMMEDIATELY. It will benefit you far off in the end. Last thing you would want is to be DEPORTED which will make things a bit more difficult with your sponsorship application. Just DO NOT listen to the advise of any immigration consultant that tells you to stay in Canada and put through the PRRA. I am sure time if of the essence here for you so you need to make wise decisions that will benefit you in the long run. Mind you too, if you put in your sponsorship now, the PRRA officer will see that you are being sponsored outland and s/he will reject your PRRA and have you deported from Canada. Go read my detailed posted in your PRRA forum.

Bien suerte!
