Dear All,
I got the PPR and send my passports to the London Office. Allah SWT has blessed with me with this opportunity. Now my only concern is my medical will expire in last week of May, and I sent the passports on 15th of March.
Q-1 : How much time do u think CIC london will take to return the passport back as I have to apply for the Transit visa to the UK as well to get the connecting Flight to Toronto???
Q-2 : Do you think the back ground Check and all other terrible time consuming security checks are Over or they are still ON?
Q-3 : I will be Travelling with 3 Kids what are the best options for me to Get the Connecting flight without the formalities of getting Transit visa From Qatar. FYI: I checked with the embassy of UK, Germany and USA they all want me to apply for the Transit Visa even if the connection of the flight is less then 12 Hrs. Please Advice?
Last but not the least, many many Mabrooooooooks to all who got the Visa and the PPRs.
Question -1 and 2 matters a lot to me please do reply...

I doubt that u need transit visa. I have frinds who travelled from Dubai on the same route by BA and Transit visa was not required. You can cross check the same with your airlines. Its a NEWS to me.
Last but not the least, many many Mabrooooooooks to all who got the Visa and the PPRs. Thanks i am waiting for my PPs to come back with Visas and Landing Papers.

Hi there,,
I personally think they shouldn't take a long time to send your passport back to you as the visa will be valid until the end of the medical, which is as you mentioned in your thread last week of may. I am not sure about the BG check as I have read before in some threads it is still on in this stage, others are saying it isn't so its better to wait and see what seniors are presuming.
Congrats mate and hope it wont be long time.

Thanks a lot. I still didn't get the PPs back, due to my curiosity I sent an email to London visa Office asking them the expected time frame for the return of my passports, they reply back to me with the same info i.e. 6 weeks time. Tomorrow I am completing my 2nd week let's hope for the best and keep praying for me and my family.

This is the last stage so do not send repeated emails. I got my visa stamped passports in 33 days. Keep watching ur E-cas status. The day u see Decision Made it is the surety that visas are stamped.

Hi Londonqt, Transit visa requirements is not the same for all, it all depends on what passport you are currently holding and on politics which keep changing  .. Some nationalities do not require transit visa when transiting through some countries' airports if the stay is less than 12 hours.. GoodLuck bro:) mabrook |
