Dear Sir / Madam

I have got my file number for Canadian PR, my application (with all documents such as police clearence & IELTS score, refernce letter, check list & all other documents) was submitted in October 2010 and i got my file number 15th February 2011.

My consultant sent a mail that I got my approval from cic, ( he forwarded the same mail to me which contains some file number).

My question is: If I get the approval does it mean that CIC has approved my application ? How much time it will take more to get PR now??

please let me know.

Congratulations , which one was ur visa office, I submitted my doc sin Oc 2011 to London Office nothing I hav egot yet

Dear Murtuzaabbasi,

She belongs to Post June applicants. She has filed the application to CIC and not CHC.

I also got same. I applied in October and got file number last 10 dys back. i am also waiting for the further communication from NDV office.

you get file number from CIC, not from CHC ND. so you have to send full documents first withing 120days notice period which is mentioned in your email letter. once you send full documents to CHC ND and VO will send you 2nd file number from CHC ND, thats for you can communicate and if you have query you can ask to chc ND, remeber this time PR process is some slow so, once you submit your all documents quickly then you will save your processing time and your file will move fast. dont wast days and submit your full documents before 120days notice will get over. actual PR process will start once you submit your full documents to CHC ND.
