I don't know what is my situation

dear all,

I opend my immegration file Abril,2004. 3 monthes later i received a letter that told me that cic received my application and it will take 56 monthes to process it, and i have to wait till Abril, 2010 and the may ask for interview or not depending on my case.

Is this letter mean that i passed the 67 points or they keep me wait 4 years then tell me that my apllications is rejected?

All they have done is received the application, it hasn't been reviewed as to whether you qualify or not.

It is just acknowledgement of your application and 56 months is a tentative application processing time which may be increased.
