Dear Seniors,

I don't have any permanent Canadian address. Also,I don't have any friends or relatives over there. Please suggest as what do I need to tell to the immigration officer about my address for sending PR card. Is it safe to give address of my temporary accommodation?

Hi, if you are heading towards Toronto, and then you stay at SAFEHOMESTAY, as they will collect your PR card and dispatch it to you on your home country address. They will charge you around 50 CAD for that service.

Thanks SATDXB,

But will be staying in Canada only.

Does this mean that it is safe to give address of your temporary accomodation for PR card?

You can give any temporary address which should be genuine. If it is not correct the PR Card will not reach you.

In case if you don't find any accommodation before landing and you don't know where you will stay for approx 2  months or more, you can tell the officer that you will have to find a place to live. In that case he will let you know where  to inform your contact address and telephone number later.
