I am a anglophone registered nurse trying to immigrate from the USA to Quebec under the skilled worker class. I applied on June 3, 2011, and received my AOR July 20, 2011. My attorney advised that I should receive offer for an interview with in 6-10 months (hoping for earlier time frame). I am a little worried because although my attorney tells me that my file is strong, my french language skills are very weak. I have begun working on language skills because every blog that I read gives me the impression that I will be denied without basic skills.

Has anyone out there experienced what I am experiencing and can offer insight/advise (please and thank you).

Thanks in advance
