 my representative told me she has sent my application to cio first week of april 2010 and lately she told me that the cio has told her that we arelacking of ielts. wich she forgot that i have took the said exam. now, she sent my ielts result just this month but it had expires last june 26, 2010. should i be worry about it? and by the way my band score is 6.5


and now she also told me that we will wait for the response not later than last week of september 2010..


please guide me, i just want to make sure my representative is not a fooling me.

Change of statement each time is sufficient to indicate that your consultant had been telling lies each time. Had she filed your application in April 2010 you would have by passed new chenged rules. Pre June 26, no IELTS was required at CIO level.    Scrap her and ask for refund. You dont need consultant to file appliation , it is a simple process, go through CIC website 2-3 times and handle ur case ur self. Members here will guide u when ever u have any problem.

okey, and the next step i will make is just to wait for the response of the cio and ill take care of the rest of my case.

 by the way, how long does cio response from the day you have sent your papers.?

I don't know where your representative is from or how good is he/she...but what I know is that a representative should give straight and prompt answers; by the way, if he/she would have sent the application in April, it wouldn't have been necessary the IELTS at that stage for Nova Scotia; something smells fishy.

Well, i would sincerely suggest to change your consultant immediately. This isnt a professional attitude ! Change ur reprentative !

can i withdraww it even though my papers are already in cio? can you tell me please the process so that ill know what to say whenever i confront this fake representative. the last time i tried to withdraw from her service she said i can only take half of what i have paid.

yea better change/withdraw reprentative, before she spoil ur case further badly with her un professionalism

If I change my representative, do I have to notify Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)?

Yes. You must notify CIC immediately if you change your representative. To notify CIC, complete a new Use of a Representative (IMM 5476) form and send it to the office processing your file. You can change your representative at any time. You may also decide to deal directly with the visa office or the in-Canada immigration office yourself.

check out your retainers agreement with this representative of yours. if it says that you ll get only half refund then you cant do much.
you have to also notify the cic office regarding this change.
even if you go ahead with this representative, i suggest that you be well informed yourself, instead of relying completely on him.
