I am so confused , please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi To all,

Please could you confirm with me, i am so tensed and confused of where my application is exactly being processed. Because of  the political crisis in Abidjan visa office, visa and immigration services have been suspended temporary and i have been asked to send additional documents or  case  specific inquiries to Senegal visa office.

1) Does it mean my file has been transferred to Senegal visa office?
2) My  case  has been delay and i was told to contact them after the 18 months. I have sent  a case specific inquiry  to the Senegal Visa office but no reply, it has been more than 28 days.

I am a January 2009 applicant, submitted full documents in June 2009  and got 2nd AOR in August 2009. No further communication and   i ordered Caip notes and my BF'D from caips was 22.1.2011.

So i do not know what to do.

New “Federal Skilled Worker” and “Quebec-Selected Skilled Workers” applications for permanent residence and applicable fees should be sent to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia (Canada).  For more detailed information please consult Applying as a Skilled Worker.

For courier and mailing addresses select the appropriate category:

Relax friend. As long as they ask you to send documents to Senegal Office, then of course your file has been sent there, and should be kept till end of processing. Let's hope that they process your file faster now.

For the address, in their letter, they should have notified you of the address to send your files. However, my advice is that you should use the address of canadaian embassy in Senegal. Don't use the NS, canada one. Your file is already in Canada.

                   Thank you so much. Yes with your message i will relax.  I agree  with you. That is what i understood.  So  why are they not replying to my case specific inquiry. I will wait for two months and will send another case specific inquiry, my case has been delayed.

Yes i did sent  a fax also about the mistake they made on my caip notes, yet no reply.
Mez0 2009,  what if i call them, my case has been delayed and the need to inform me about what is happening or if there is anything i should do , then i do it. I really hate this office for lack of communication.

To which office you sent you inquiry? You need to send case specific inquiry to Senegal and not Abidjan as your file sets in Senegal.

Yes of course, you can call Senegal for an update on your file and hope you will get great update. All wishes of luck.

Hi Mez02009,
                I sent it to Senegal Visa office. Well i am still waiting for the reply. The said they will reply within 28 days, but it has been more than 28 days. I will wait for 2 more weeks and send again.


Yes i will give two more weeks and i will call then.
