Hi all,

I wondered into this site looking for some help. I am new and confused.
I have been on a work permit here for the past 18 months. I extended my stay as a visitor hoping to land another job.

Also, I have a business idea and I think I have enough experience for it. I am planning to start as self-employed. I looked up the CIC to find out if I can apply while still here, but it is confusing. I do not know what I should or should not do. I do not want to mess up. I do not understand.

Could you please please help me understand this puzzle?

Thank you,

Sal

Actually there is a self employed category:  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/self-employed/index.asp
