Hi ,

I am Canadian citizen on F1 Visa in USA, Spouse is US Citizen.

as you know I cannot work in USA.

1.   how can I sponser my spouse without any job.
2.   we have enough money in the bank to cover us, can we use that and how ? what evidence do need to send ?
3.   I am confused on which forms do I fill and what fees do I pay, and who's name should be on the receipt ?
4.   how do the whole process go ? if you have been in this same situation, can you explain in detail.
5.   how and where do i get the FBI check ?

I will be very very thankful, if you can help me .

Hi ,

1.   how can I sponser my spouse without any job.
You do not need to have a job to sponsor your wife, the biggest thing is you cannot be collecting any form of public government funding (welfare)
2.   we have enough money in the bank to cover us, can we use that and how ? what evidence do need to send ?
All I sent was my option C from 2009 tax form
3.   I am confused on which forms do I fill and what fees do I pay, and who's name should be on the receipt ?
It is a very confusing process my best advice for you since school is almost over is fill out the paperwork as you "think" it needs to be filled out and make a trip up to Canada and go visit a local Canadian Immigration office on a Tuesday or Thursday. They will look through your entire application for you. As far as fee's you pay the sponsorship fee, principle applicant fee, and right of permenent residence all adding to $1,040.00 I think
4.   how do the whole process go ? if you have been in this same situation, can you explain in detail.
Not sure what you are looking for here so without more specifics all I can say is it is a very long, nerve racking, and frustrating process.
5.   how and where do i get the FBI check ?
You do not need an FBI check your spouse does. Go get your spouses fingerprints taken at the local police department and send them to the FBI
