Is it a very lengthy process to get visas to move to canada from the UK, we so want to leave the UK and would have money to purchase a house outright and wonder if that would work in our favor! Also what should come first obtain visa or find a job?Huh

Here are some ways to immigrate to Canada.

1. Federal Skilled Worker Program - need to have a work experience (at least one year) in the 29 NOC list of occupation.
2. Quebec Skilled Worker Program - must know French Language.
3. Provincial Nominee Program - must have relative or friends to nominate you to a certain province.
4. Arranged Employment Opinion - must have arranged a job in Canada before application.

other factors:
1. Education
2. Work Experience
3. Adaptability
4. Settlement Funds
5. English Profiency (IELTS)

No - having a house here will not work in your favour. It will make no difference.
