According to the AOR letter which I received from them, they said the average processing time in their office is 12 months. So count 12 months from the time your e cas status changed to "in process" then you will get your visa. That, if your case is straightforward, meaning, no additional documents asked, interview waived, no additional medical test is required.

From the date of submission of all documents in March 2009 i am still awaiting. The processing started for me since Oct 2008.

Still no interview call and no medicals request. So you can imagine how long it takes.

Yes CAIPS was ordered two times but was valuable to me the first time only. The CAIPS states a bring forward date of 01 June and afterwords nothing happen.

The CAIPS notes however declare that i have passed my paper screening and now the decision is to be made on Security and Background checks.

Since then i am waiting.

Thanks Biblio. Pls see my timeline below. Do you think if I order CAIPS today I can get a picture of how many points did I get and probably a BFD of when I will be receiving my medical request?

Hi All

I sent my full docs to London CHC on 03/10/2009 and London CHC has received it on 05/10/2009.

I got second AOR from London CHC on 27/11/2009 dated 23/11/2009.

I i think it take approx 8 weeks + Postal times to get AOR from London CHC and it's says in AOR that it will take 12 months to process application at London CHC.

Good Luck to All.

Regards
Desai

Dear Desai,
Do you mean 12 months after submission of full documents or after application in process. These are two different dates. My guess is that after your E-case status change to "in Process" the counting should start.

Again by all means the 12 months is no Guarantee, as i am already waiting for 18 months now since my initial submission and suspect that it may take 24-36 months to process my full case. Also be informed that i already passed my Paper Screening and my full document submission was in March 2009 but still I\ve not heard of Medical request.

Dear Aspire,
In retrospect i already advised you to go for CAIPS but seems you are hesitating for some reason unknown to me. My two cents that its better to spend 40$ and get relieved that keeping yourself under constant stress and sleepless nights. CAIPS will definitely show your file progress.

Hello guys,

Waiting is killing me. Can't wait. Just to inform you guys that today I ordered CAIPS notes thru caipsnotes.com. I am aware of the possibility that I might receive my medical request before I will receive my CAIPS notes. Crazy me? It just gives me much hope thinking that 4-6 weeks from today I will have a clear picture of what is going on with my file.
Anyway I will be needing your assistance by the time I have the notes.

Thanks for the push guys!

God Bless You All

Hi Biblo

I think this is a general letter which they sent to every applicant once they received full application.
I am not 100% sure how long it takes but it depend on each case and approx it will takes 12 months to process in London CHC.

I have submitted my Full Docs file with my new born son details (excluding his passport) and i have paid CAN $150.00 by demand draft but when i got my Local AOR from London CHC, I have not received any payment receipt for my son application fees.

I am not sure about this, please let me know if any one has any further information.

Looks like London CHC is very slow in term of processing, updating ECAS, issusing visas (everything) compare to other CHCs.

What do you think guys?

Good Luck to All.

Regards
Desai
