Hi,

howcome some have PSDEC and SELDEC done on the same date, while for some the dates varies
in my case its been 09 monthssince PSDEC, still no SELDEC, is that a reason for me to be worried?

Hi,

Both are different. PSDEC is Paper Screening Decision, SEDEC is Security Decision. They can or can't be finished on the same dates. On paper screening, papers are checked for completeness, verification...etc. Security clearance is self explanatory.

So no need to worry.

So PSDEC is not really all that important, SELDEC is, that what I understand
its been long time since PsDec, I hope Seldec would come soon.

Both are important. As long as you passed the first one, you should be happy and hope the second one comes soon.

bUDDY SELDEC is diiferent from SECDEC
If it is 4 ,then you are almost there
T-12 SELECTION DECISION (SELDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 passed on discretion
* 3 OIC required (pro-Proclamation cases)
* 4 waived
* 5 failed
* 6 failed on discretion
* 7 withdrawn
* S passed (H & C consideration) (for Refugees only)
