did anybody know how i can check if the bank draft has been cashed? the bank draft was issued from UK & i sent it to CIU in Sydney.....................

As far as I know, you cant. Even if you get it from a global bank like HSBC who issue them from their UK offices to be cashed in their Canadian offices - even they cant trace them albeit they go through their own banking system in both countries. |

actually that what i am worried about. as i saw another member of this forum named 'JASSIN' & his DD got encashed but he didn't received any AOR until he enquired to CIU several times & CIU said that they already sent the AOR e-mail to 'JASSIN'S' email address but in reality 'JASSIN' didnt received that e-mail. So, after several enquiries they sent him the AOR email again.
that's why i am a bit worried... if i can trace that the Bank Draft has been cashed & yet i haven't received any AOR within a few weeks i will have to enquire to CIU
so. plz guide if u can on this issue

Fair enough, If I were you, I will send an email and inquire about it. Do you have a photocopy of the Draft. If yes, scan it in and attach it to the email inquiry. |

But, you can ask them at the least. State that you are concerned because you have not received an AOR. |
