Hi, any changes in your martial status has to be informed to the VO before your visa is stamped.

So be sure that you add her now in your application.

Cheers..

If you got married while the application is in process, you should inform the VO, even if you do not want to add her to your application

If you plan to sponser your spouse after you get the PR, the time to get your spouse PR varies from VO to VO. Check the details here

I am not married yet..but since will be migrating as soon as my process is done, thinking of marriage as well. I'm advised by some folks not to marry before my VISA to reduce delay. If I get visa and marry before landing to canada, how to handle this? Any idea..

Than you have to land first and start Family sponsorship preparation for your spouse.
(this will also delay to join your spouse, choise is yours that you want to join your spouse after landing , setting job, home or land togather updating VO that you married before getting visa stamped. yes in both cases it will delay some few days/month, depend how fast are you arrange documents as requested by VO so, you can land togather.
otherwise family sponsorship class is there for you to join spouse later after your landing)
