Hello,
I am Egyptian studying in Toronto and I am preparing my application to PR (as a skilled worker).
So, I am requested to submitt a "Police Certificate" from Egypt.
I contacted Egyptian Consolate in Montereal and they sent me the form. All what I have to do in to put my fingerprints on the form in police station (as they told me in the consolate).
I am living in Yonge and Bloor, so I have emailed "52 Division in 255 Dundas St. W." as I found in the internet that is the closest police station. BUT they said we don't take fingreprints?????????????????????
My question is simple:
I just want to put my fingreprints on the form that I have.... Where to do so???????????????/
Thanks in advance
Ahmed

Open the yellow pages in the phone book.  Look under fingerprinting services, pick one

Hello
You should do RCMP fingerprints as well as it takes 2-4 months to have the results from RCMP (one month from Egypt by the way !!! and few days if someone can do it for you in Cairo !!!!).
here is the place you can go to take your fingerprints:

Thanks Egyman,
I think it is too early to have RCMP now because It will be needed after I apply and get a good response (at least a year I think)
But some friends told me that I just take the finger print and wait to apply for it later.
How long it is valid (RCMP)?
Last point, do ypu know how much does cost to take my finger print at the place you reccomend?
Thanks again

Hello Ahmed
OK no need for RCMP now as it is needed if you lived in Canada more than 6 months. Price in Montreal for taking FP is 30 $ so I guess it is like this in Toronto.  You may want to call and ask about info. you need.
Take care.

Hi

Can anyone advise me about the procedure for getting UK police clearance if you live in the USA.

Seek and ye shall find.  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/police-cert/europe/united-kingdom.html
People should read www.cic.gc.ca all the requirements are there and how and what to obtain for your applications.
