HALO ALL
I have reached Vancouver from India on PR. I have done Diploma in Pharmacy from India. Please can anybody guide me from where I can get my certificates evaluated here in Vancouver so that they tell me how much more I need to study here in Canada to get myself registered here as Pharmacist.
Regards & Thanks

Hi qorax, your suggestions and views are very educating and helpful. Ive been reading a lot lately on this forum since i got my visa for canada. Im quite confused about where to go land initially. I do have an eligibility already to take the CRNE in Ontario. Im going with my wife and my 7 yr. old daughter. However we are planning to stay in Calgary since we do have some friends there. If i passed the Exam i still need to render 1125 hours of nursing practice in Ontario before i can practice in Alberta. Meaning if i passed im going to leave my wife and daughter in alberta practice in ontario then once i have completed the hours then i can already practice in Alberta. What are your suggestions.. Im afraid in landing ontario and stay there initially since its a busy city and quite hard to look for survival jobs and we dont know anybody there. Can u provide any suggestions. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance qorax!

One thing is pretty simple & logical - if u have friends/relatives in some place - u should 'land' there. It makes ur initial settlement lot easier.

Same format that you submitted to Visa office is good
Just keep in mind that more than past employer certificate your job search sucess depends on references.

Yep, i fully agree with sir Qorax,... My friend landed in Brampton where he has got his friend and they help him with the survivor job then he was applying for University in Toronto...Now he is in Toronto he said me in phone if he has been in Toronto rather than he was in Brampton he would not have find jobs thats easily and his cost of living will be much higher...i know everybody dreams to be in downtown area when they arrive and think they will find job...if they are lucky they might but its better to stay where there are good mates are... Warm Regards.... Spartan 300...
