been working in a hotel here in alberta for 9 months of my 1 year working permit, just need to know, if a can apply for another work permit because my present employer will not renew my contract. I am presently looking for another employer, if yes how to apply for one? thank you.

You must apply one month before it expires, in the meantime look for another job. I must ask, you on a temporary workers permit? Did your employer sign for you to migrate to work for him?
