Hi,
I am Indian currently living in USA under H1-B visa.
I am qualified to apply for PR under skilled workers and professionals: NOC 2173 Software Engineers and Designers. I have few questions appreciate if anyone could please clarify so that I can proceed further.
1)As I am currently living in Washington. To which visa office should I submit my application forms? (IMM 0008, SCHEDULE 1, SCHEDULE 3
2)Do I need to take medical and police certificate before submitting application? If so, from which country it is preferred native or foreign?
3)What communication address should I provide in the application forms? Native or foreign.

Please share your experiences if anyone applied with H1 status from US.
Thanks in advance.

Best wishes

See the response below
I am qualified to apply for PR under skilled workers and professionals: NOC 2173 Software Engineers and Designers ( Only if you have arranged employment from Canada for this NOC). I have few questions appreciate if anyone could please clarify so that I can proceed further.
1)As I am currently living in Washington. To which visa office should I submit my application forms? (IMM 0008, SCHEDULE 1, SCHEDULE 3 (CIC Buffalo NY Office)
2)Do I need to take medical and police certificate before submitting application? If so, from which country it is preferred native or foreign? ( First application goes to Sydney NS Canada, you don't need PCC or medical at this point)
3)What communication address should I provide in the application forms? Native or foreign. ( Your current resident )

If you don't have arranged employment then you can apply under NOC 0213 if you are performing mangerial duties, else check for AINP (Alberta Program)

Good luck

Hi

Hi All,

Can anyone please suggest me an expert Canadian Immigration Attorney Lawyer?

I would like to seek help from an expert providing my details for initial assessment ONLY, and then later I would like to apply by my own without any lawyer.

Earlier I have taken couple of online assessment tests to check my eligibility, and I have been qualified under NOC: 2173. But later in this forum I came to know that it is valid only for arranged employment from Canada.

So I am little confused to come to a conclusion that under which criteria I am eligible to apply for PR.

Here is a brief description about me.

Male, Single
Status: H1 B (valid till Sep 2010)
Age: 31
Education: Mater's Degree
Occupation: Software Engineer
Work Experience: 40 months worked in India.
Currently have 23 months of US work experience.

Appreciate if anyone could please help me take a step further based on my details, as I have been struggling from couple of weeks to assist myself through online assessment tests.

Note: I have no employment sponsorship from Canada.
Thanks in advance.

Unless you have managerial responsibilities under NOC 0213 you don't qualify under the FSW1,2,3.  Alberta no longer accepts 2173 under their H1B program.

Apology if I am duplicating the post.

To avoid confusion regarding the answers I have received separately for the two questions, I have merged the two questions together to get more suggestions.

Experts please suggest me on the above two questions I have posted separately and got different answers.
