How to send passports from UK to New delhi?

Hi,

I am july 2011 applicant an my VO is ND. As the NDVO started issuing MR,PPR to july applicants, I can expect it by next month.

Currently I am living in UK. Incase, if passports are requested, Is it legal to send from one country to another? If so, what are the options?

How long it takes to get it stamped and if we require in case of any emergency, what shall we do?

Please answer my queries.

As per my knowledge, You can not send indian passport by post or courrier from UK to India, even same from India to abroad . but you can send passport with relatives, friends in writing authorization letter by you and they can submit it to ND VO. same way they can picked up your passport from India to UK.

Otherwise you have to visit India there is no other options.
