Hi All

I have completed the relevant form to remove my agent and have sent them via email, that is available on their website. I am now unsure whether this is the right procedure.

Would somebody please advise.

Thanks

As far as I know I think you will have to send the hard copy of the form IMM5476 with the removal option to the Visa Office. Also ensure that your spouse/partner signs the form too.
In the covering letter also mention your new mailing address (currently it must be of your representative I presume).
Thereafter it may take 3-4 weeks before you can see the new address on e-cas.

Thanks Yukon for your reply.

I cannot believe that it will take 3-4 wks for them to update the system ! So in the interim should CIC send anything it will still go to my agents.  Oh what bummer !! Huh

Actually, the system update (the address) what we see takes 3-4 weeks. Internally the update (removal of representative) happens in 2-3 days time.
Is your application at VO or CIO? Are you expecting something?

Ok, I saw your signature, it's at Visa Office.
Don't worry the VO enters the updated form into the CAIPS immediately upon receipt. Since you have already sent them en e-mail, they might have already done that!
