Hi there,

I used to work in Australia, I am in India now as my visa got expired and now I am about to lodge my PR file for canada on the basis of work experience. But the main issue is my previous employer from Australia is not ready to provide me an Experience and Reference letter. It was not a big organisation and I even do not have any appointment letter or any contract letter with the company.

Now, what can I do to prove my experience to Canadian immigration department? Its all set to lodge my file and I am lacking of this letter to support my file.

Please provide me some expert advises to help me with this issue.

Salary slips and bank statement, plus any communication that proves your work that you had between yourself and company... that will be enough to proof

Thank you very much for your reply.

Just a quick question. Did you mean all three and half years' pay slips and bank statement?

Plus Income Tax Returns which you might have filed being an employee there.

Bhatnagar, in absence of employment contract and reference letter it may be tough to convince the VO. Recently we have seen rejection for even minor issues.

Please evaluate how much relevance this particular employment has to your application. Like can it be ignored for the purpose of eligibility and point calculation, what I mean is that can other jobs qualify you and get you enough points.

Because if you are dependent on this occupation and do not have employment contract and refernce letter it may bee tough to convince IO

Buddy.

If you dont get a letter from your employer there is not much you can do prove your experience.

VO if very very particular about the documentary requirements.
