How to pay the application fee from the US

I am ready to submit my application for open work permit.

Here I have a problem, I do not know how to pay the fee of 150 $CAD.
I live in the US.

1. Some website tells me to pay either 150$CAD or 110$US but knowing the current rate, is this info still correct? (website: Canada Immigration Visa)



2. It looks money order is acceptable but do I need to specify to whom (for example CIC)?



3. It seems personal check is not acceptable.

The info on how to pay is not on Guide 5487 (Applying for work permit outside Canada) or the website of the visa office in NY.

I emailed the address on the web but got auto-reply saying they do not respond because they are busy. I also called the office and the voice massage says they do not answer questions again because they are busy.

Help me, please.
