Dear friends, I am planning to evaluate my educational qualifications to bring at par with canadian system............. i have masters from C U...... and have to obtain transcripts to be send in University sealed envelope to WES ontario Friends pls suggest hw should i go about it...... can any friends clarify me on transcripts issue ............. is transcripts the xerox copies or the duplicate given by the university  ? regards and thanx in advance, benjamin |

One, u don't need to send the transcripts to WES, u can send the originals as well & they'd return that with the their Accreditation Report.
Two, member "Calgirl" of this forum had got the same done. She was from Calcutta & since landed @ Toronto. U may like to PM her for the process.

One, u don't need to send the transcripts to WES, u can send the originals as well & they'd return that with the their Accreditation Report.

Hi I am Surjit from Kolkata.
To get a Transcript from Calcutta University is a very simple process.It will take a maximum of 2 weeks on
payment of Rs200/- for urgent transripts.
Go to the Terrace of Calcutta University....the transript dept.is located there. Just ask them the requirements...they will let you know.They are very helpful.

Getting a transcript from CU is really a very simple process. Surprisingly, the people there are very helpful.
1)You need to be there personally to apply for the transcript.
2)Go to Calcutta University.....head for the Cash Counter where you ask for a form for transcript application. Will cost you Re1 or Rs 2.
3)Ask how much it takes for an Urgent application..possibly Rs 200/- (you can collect it personally if you can manage a trip for two weeks or mebbe
18 days
4)Fill out the form:
Your name and address where you are staying
OR BEST would be:
Collect this form from the Cash Counter inside Cal.Univ. and go straight away to the Terrace of Darbhanga Building (where the transcript dept is located..right at the end of the terrace). They are available from 11am to 3pm.
Ask the people there what all the requirements are. You compulsorily need your ORIGINAL MARKSHEET and the Degree Cert.too.
Follow their instructions and shortly you will be in possession of the Sealed transcript.

Did you get your transcripts ? I am trying to apply also to Canadian universities also, and at this point I am in the US and dont want to travel to India. I am looking for ways to get my transcripts without having to travel. Any help would be truly appreciated.

Qorax I have a question to you........... Qurax.............. now can you tell me that can i sponsor my spouse right after i LAND IN Canada? in that case how long will it usually take to process ?
