For payment of fee:
The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favor of
"Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

What should I write in the payee to make it payable to INDIA.
Is it same as I send to the central intake office with the exact amount?
Thanks

Hi,

were are u applying for the DD....ur post suggests you r not residing in India  Roll Eyes

Well as you said, like u took the DD for CIC, you can follow the same procedure....except mention New Delhi, India in the "payable at" option in the form....

Also remember, if u make the DD in INR, the beneficiary name should be "Canadian High Commission" and if u take it in CAD the beneficiary name should be "The Receiver General for Canada"....

Hi Shareen,

But the enclosed fee paymet structure doesn't confirm about in case of CAD DD payable to Receiver general for Canada/ Indian Rupees payable to Canadian high comission?

Ankit - Would request your inputs also.. I made DD in Indin Rupees favouring Receiver General for Canada.

Hope this will not create any kind of problem.

Regards

Please pay in Indian Rupee to Canadian High Commission, Delhi.
Please visit bank and they will show you many people who have paid in past.
I had same confusion and once I was in bank, I paid in Indian Rupee it Canadian High Commission, Delhi.
