Dear all

I need some advice.

I landed with my family in Canada in 2007.

My wife and children accumulated the 1095 days required to apply for the citizenship as of end Nov 2011.

But for my self, I was forced to leave Canada to work abroad for the United Nations. This helped me to help my family to survive and to avoid getting any social aid from the Canadian government. I kept visiting my family using my PRC at least 3 times every year for 20-25 days each visit.

My PRC is going to expire in mid of the year 2012.

How can I apply to renew my PRC, although I did not meet either the conditions of 1095 days or the 730 days.

Please advice me on what to do... I am afraid that I may not be able to visit my family in the future.

Is there any exeptions for those who work for the United Nations??

Thankx

When your PR card expires, you can try applying for a travel document to go back.  If you are refused, you will officially lose your PR.  Then you can try for a multiple entry TRV in order to visit your family or your wife can sponsor you for PR again.
