Dear all,
I noticed some people write that their interview was waived and they are waiting for the ppr. If I understand well what is waived, I can say that it is cancelled or it is not going to be done so how does someone know that his interview was waived. Do they write this in the letter that they usually send with the medical exams?
Thanks for your responses.

When you receive your medicals it means that your interview has been waved.

Hope it has helped you.

Hi,

Usually in 90 % cases when medical is issued it is issued after the background checks are done and are ok, that means the visa officer is satisfied with the documents provided and the PA meets the criteria, there are very few typical cases when an interview might be called if something come up in the security checks or sometimes the visa officer might be unsure of certain details and they just want to clarify but this one is very rare.
