Hi

I am in US and recently got my GC, I also got Canadian PR card recently, currently due to job I am going to be in US for near future, but I want to keep my Canadian PR card also valid (with current Job market you never know).

Is there any way I keep my PR card valid and eligible for renewal while not staying in Canada.

I heard that if you exit Canada via land, and then have some sort of  bill or lease in your name you are still considered living in canada and PR card stays valid.

I will appreciate any suggestions.

Regards,

No - this does not mean that you are still considered living in Canada and the PR card stays valid.

To keep your PR status valid, you must physically live in Canada two out of every five years.
