Good day,

One of the challenges I have is transitioning to Toronto, Canada without a consistent stream of income.  So what I've decided to do is do as much as possible while outside of Canada e.g. registerring a business etc., obtaining licenses etc. without necessarily having to physically be present in Canada.

Is this possible and if so what might be the process?  If not, can anyone else suggest another similar alternative?

Thanks
Anand

You have to fine someone you trust and submit the Pover of Attorney to work on your behalf.

Here is a link to resource content on consulting/contracting work in Canada.  It also has links on how to decide whether to be a sole proprietorship, or incorporate.
