How to get workpermit with studypermit

Hi guys.

I am a Permanent resident Canada. so I dont really know regarding temporary visa (study permit)

one of my friend wants to come to Canada as a student with study permit. but thing is she already got married and have 2kids.

in this case, can her husband can apply for work permit while she holds her study permit without any restrict? I heard rumor from somewhere, so want to make sure that.

Hi,

1. She has to first apply for the study permit along with her husband (as a dependent), if approved; husband can apply for the 'Open Work Permit' which shall remain valid upto the duration of study permit.
