How to get TRV?

Hi I am from the U.S. my husband and I are interested in living in Cananda for a while. How do we obtain a trv and get a work permit? Do you do this from the U.S. before leaving?

Since you are a US Citizen, I suppose, you dont need Visa to visit Canada, but if you want to work in Canada, you need to obtain an LMO (Labour Market Opinion), this is done by your employer then apply for Work Permit if you recevied your Positive LMO.
