How to get IELTS when the original one is Lost in Post

Hi,

I am about to send my application back to CIC for FSW. I applied in july and my first application received in CIC on the 19th of July under NOC 3112. They returned it for some unknown reasons, and i never got it back.  My original documents were lost in the mail when it was returned by CIC . They told us about this at the end of October. Now i am about to send it back but obviously without IELTS and my wife's original transcripts which were lost. I tried my best and was able to get few of the things but not all. The Britsh council is asking me to give them my file number and they will send it to CIC, but i dont have my file number. I saw somewhere on this forum, that some people were able to get IELTS results card from British council......I want to ask please help if you were in similar situation, and were able to get another results from British council.....

They said they will only send it to educational institution or CHC DIRECTLY.....

The best option is to give the address of your friend's office or any other reliable person and ask them to send it on that address, they  do send the results to organisations and once your friend received it then you can send it by yourself.

have you informed british council that you have lost the original and CIC don't accept directly sent IELTS from the british council. Give british council the link that says"CIC needs original and don't accpet directly sent IELTS"
I think british council then should be able to give you another copy of IELTS under these special circumstances.
