Hi,

I am trying to get get green card in USA. Present I am living in Canada. Can any one suggest me the way to get green card in USA ?

These are your three options:

1. Get married to an American (time to get green card ~ 3 months)
2. Get a job in the US and convince employer to sponsor you (time to get green card 2 to 10 years)
3. Play the annual visa lottery (You can not play as a Canadian Citizen)

Point number 3 is discrimination against Canadians

It is based on where you were born, not on citizenship. All countries that send over a certain amount of immigrants over the last 5 years are excluded.

By the way, this is the wrong forum for U.S. immigration questions. Wink

if u r not outstanding in your field or very qualified to go under EB1 category and if u r from china, india, mexico
I think the quikest way is to get candian citizenship and and then get a job in USA on TN1 visa and go ffrom there - unless u have US spouse
People on EB2 and other workers from above countries can take 5 to 10 years to go green - I dont think many enjoy equal rights as americans while working on H1 visa
