Dear All,

Need  help on how to fill section 10 of imm0008_1e ( Back ground declaration form ) ?

GIve the number of years of school completed ?

elementary / primary school =

Secondary / High school =

university / College =

Trade School / other post secondary school =




My educational details

10+2 = Full time after that

2 year Diploma in Pharmacy = Fulltime

3 year Bachelor in Computer Application = distance mode from IGNOU , New Delhi

2 year Master in Business Administration = Distance mode from ICFAI University .Dehradun. 

Please help me whether i i need to write my 2 year of diploma in pharmacy ( from University of Rajasthan , Jaipur )

in last colum (Trade School / other post secondary school) or Need to fill in  university / College Field ?

Yes. You have to put it under trade school/ other post secondary.

Refer to IMM EG7 guide, page 25, to read the below definition:

"Trade/Apprenticeship training in an occupation, such as carpentry or auto mechanics.

Non-university certificate/diploma training in a profession that requires formal education but not at the university level (for example, dental technician or engineering technician). "

elementary / primary school = 8
ESSLC  up to 8 th std it is elementary or primary

Secondary / High school =4 
 9&  10 th is secondary  SSLC or MATRIC if u studied in marticulation
11& 12 higher secondaryHSC

university / College = 5 not sure b.cos its diatance mode

Trade School / other post secondary school = 2

Thanks for reply but my 2 year of diploma is from university .then how do u suggest me to fill ?

If your diploma was granted at university level, then you consider it as such.

You need of course to support this with official transcripts and certificate which I assume you have.
