Hi,
I am a UK citizen currently in Canada on a 1yr working visa and would very much like to extend my stay.Is this possible? and if yes would i have have to leave Canada to get it?
All advice will be greatly appreciated.

You can apply for an extension as a visitor  see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visitor.asp

On IMM 1249, what box to tick if a working visa holder wants to apply for a visitor's visa?
