Hi, I would like to find some solution to my situation. I am in Canada on Working Holiday Programm and my Visa expires at the end of this September. I want to stay here and I am looking for the best way how to do it without leaving. I was thinking about Skilled Worker but I am affraid I dont have enough experience for that. Or I could apply for spouse vise because my boyfriend is Canadian and we have been together for over a two years. Or how about PR option? Could I apply for that?
It would be really helpful if you could give me some advice!!What would you do in my situation? I just hope I wont have to leave Canada at the end of Sept and apply for all that back at home where I come from!
Thank you!!! Adela

If you are living with this boyfriend for 12 months or more and can prove it, he can sponsor you for PR, see http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-t46995.0.html and http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp

There is no other spouse visa for spouses of Canadians other than him sponsoring you for PR.

If your employer wants to keep you, you can also try for an LMO and a regular work permit.  If you have a skilled job, your employer could sponsor you for PR under PNP.  If you have been working a skilled job for 2 years, you may qualify to apply under CEC.

PR=Permanent resident - TFW=temporary foreign worker
FSW=federal skilled worker - QSW=Quebec skilled worker
AEO=arranged employment offer - LMO=labour market opinion
CEC=Canadian experience class - PNP=provincial nominee program

Thanks for your answer.
So I can still apply even though my visa will expire at the end of this month? Isn't there a time limit or something like that? Like at least a month before the visa expires?
And if I would decide to apply as a Skilled Worker (I studied a Cvili Engineering) do I need to have arranged job? Because I am thinking of finding another (better) job...
