Does anyone know how to contact CIC if you are in the US? I tried to call the toll number 1888-242-2100 but it does not work. Has anyone solved this problem?

You can not call them from the USA--- I know its sad however you can email or fax them and hope that they call you. I had a issue and I was contacted by them by someone very friendly she even gave me her number to call her.

Anyway good luck!!

Thanks for the reply. Would you know their email address or fax number? I tried to use the Los Angeles and Buffalo Visa offices and they told me that they do not deal with this type of immigration questions because the application was not sent to their office.

Try calling +1 613 944 4000. I have no clue if it will work, but it's worth a try.

Look for the in-Canada telephone number, and use SKYPE-OUT  to call them (2.1 US cents per minute).

Interview April 4, 2011 (so slow!!). Passed.
15 April 2011 New medical done.
7 July 2011  COPR received.
15 July 2011 landed in Vancouver. At last.
