But the official website has this following information on its home page

Please note that if you want application status information or to change your address, you may do so using our online services. Case status enquiries and change-of-address requests are not handled via the Minister's e-mail address.

Well I think we need to appreciate any response even after 50 days.... We need to realize IMM Minister supposed to be a fairly busy person and so does his office and I assume before Minister can respond on any issue it does need to carry on some background check by his office on those to suggest and support H'able Minister's particular response...

People,

Every contact information on how to reach CIC is very important as these information are hardly made available to people as to avoid CIC being bombarded with calls, and letters.

If you have any concern, just write and call when you can, dont worry about response, somebody must surely read and reply.

There is a hidden Canadian Immigration policy that says 'whoever hears must respond'. It is an extreme policy which they keep to heart.
