I live in Miami Fl where there are a lot of fake lawyers especially when it comes to immigration.
How can I find a good liscensed lawyer to handle immigration lawyers.
It does not matter if he is a little expensive, as long as he works well and give good results.
Thank you for your help.

Ask the lawyer if they are registered with Canadian Government, and also ask for the registered name, address and registration number.
Or any document or license of registration.
It will not make any difference if the lawyer is registered he won't have any problem and if not he will delay and do excuses.
Also wait for others comments.
Thanks

Do you really need one? Have you done the eligibilty test? this is your first point of call: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp
There are loads of info to read and get urself educated on the immigration process. Yes, it may seem too much from the beginnng but once you start reading and asking questions, you should get the vital info needed. I have read of many bitter experiences by some forum members who engaged the services of a lawyer, and also the fact that lawyers are only there as courier services.....but hey, if you've got the money, why not? Good luck!

And this forum is better than a lawyer, No cost, Quick response, Your case  specific inquiry.

Do not think lawyer are always responsible, they are not because this in not their case/ application and if rejected or delayed applicant will get into trouble not the lawyer.

Spend a week a two on; http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

and you will feel your self a lawyer.
If some one can read and write and have common sense they do not need lawyer.

Thanks
