hi dear members. i had sent my application for pr on 8th june, 2009 at novascotia. i am yet to hear from novascotia. i made by draft from hdfc bank, ludhiana, india. i have checked responses from dear members of this forum mentioning the date of encashment of their drafts. i have been trying to get info about the encashment of my draft from hdfc bank...but to no  avail. kindly help me out. thanks.

I do not bank at HDFC and am not indian but i would think if the bank is not willing to tell you then there might not be a way.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

there is no other way to check that whether ur dd has been encashed or not? so if the bank is not telling u then just pray and wait. by the way i m also from ludhiana. under which NOC u have applied.

Visit the branch where you have got the DD done. Speak to the Branch Manager and let him know why you want to know the date for encashment. Push him hard and he will let you know. Its an internal process so sometimes they do not disclose. But if you insist they have to.
