Anybody having any idea how to check for medicals recieved when in process status...
any contact no.. we can call on??

thanks for the help guys...

Torontonian - I got my visa stamped at the Detroit Consulate on Friday but my ECAS still shows as "In Process." The best way to check if medicals were received is to get the tracking info from your DMP. We called our DMP 2 weeks after our Medicals were completed and they gave us our tracking number which we used to find out the exact date when it was delivered. In my case, medicals were completed on Oct 2nd, and the papers were delivered to the Consulate on Oct 14th. Hope this helps!

Hi,

I am waiting for the visa... I sent medicals, passports and RPRF fees on 26 oct 2010. till now I did not get any response form CIC side except I had got the receipt of RPRF fees on 6 dec 2010. But I am afraid that its been more that 80 days from now, I did not get any response regarding my visa.

Should I request for CAIPS file. does it affect the visa stamping process(any positive or negative).

Please suggest.

Hello Hands,

Ordering CAIPS does NOT affect the stamping process. I suggest you just wait. Ordering CAIPS will only get you the results after almost 45 days, so I don't see a value, and hopefully by then you will get your passports back.

Be patient and relax, your journey almost reaches to a successful end.

Cheers!

·        IELTS test results.

·        Copy of Master's diploma.

*Documents in languages other than English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation – that is a translation prepared by an accredited translator.
*Unless original documents are specifically requested, please submit certified true copies of supporting documents.  All Police Certificates must be original.  They will not be returned to you.
Ø      IN THE EVENT OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS:  It is essential that we be able to communicate with you in order to process your application.  You must report any change of mailing address as soon as possible by mail, fax to (213) 625 7154, or email.  *We accept NO responsibility for misdirected mail if you fail to advise us of a change of address.   Failure to keep us informed of a change in address, could lead to delays, and possible refusal of your application.
Ø      IN THE EVENT OF CHANGE OF FAMILY COMPOSITION:  You must notify us of any change in your marital status or family composition: birth, marriage, engagement, divorce, death, or any other significant change.  You can do so by mail, fax to (213) 625 7154, or email.  Failure to advise us of these changes could result in delays in processing and possible refusal of your application.
