I am currently an international student in Canada. I am getting married in October this year in my home country. I want to know what is the best way to have my spouse accompany me back to Canada immediately after marriage. She is my fiance presently. When is the right time to apply? Should she apply now or wait to be married and apply then. All suggestions will be appreciated.

I don't think many people has experience of this. However if you go to olvis.com/visa/canada-immigration-philippines-visa/ or olvis.com/services/visa-services/k-1-fiance-fiancee-visa-philippines/ you can find statistics for their members. It shows how long different service centres take to approve the petition, and how long it takes to get an interview in each country. 6 months might be a good estimate, maybe.

Hope this can be help to you...
