how to apply spousal visa-married to contract skilled worker in canada

hi! i am newly married to a contract skilled worker in canada and im from the philippines,He works with his company for 1 1/2 yrs now, He told me that his work permit will expiry this july 2011 and he will be submitting his PR form by that time. He wants me to be there before july 2011 so he could also include me, his status right now is single. We just got married last july of this year. He told me apply for a spousal visa. Is this possible?
