How the Original documents are sent back by CHC to Applicants

Visa office requests some of the documents Original. How and when they normally return these documents back to the applicant once they are done with it.

Is it possible to request them to send it back through a courier service or can we request to be collected by our selected courier company.

I had earlier applied for HSMP and had sent the courier company guy to collect my original documents from the UK Home Office.
