1. are they ok in notorized form for the PR Visa process?

2. does the CHC ND may summon the Originals?
if yes, then at what stage?

3. how does the VO verify if the degrees are Genuine or spurious?

The reason they ask for originals in University sealed envelopes is so they know they are genuine.

There are companies who will generate forged University transcripts for a fee, and for the sad individuals that illegally lie about their qualifications, the rest of us must pay the price.

I have heard that some people have had notarized copies accepted, but technically they can fail your application if you don't provide originals in University sealed envelopes, so why risk it?

what all is sent in the package?

i sent my Degree's main Certificate, and the Mark sheets for 3 years. (all notorized only)

yes, the notary public, did scrutinize it well, by viewing/matching with the Originals.

the ques arises-

1. do we need to send the Original certificates only
2. if yes, that too in the Envelopes?
3. is the main Degree certi and the mark sheets okay, or other docs like fees receipts, attendance sheets also r needed?
4. last but not the least, as u said, fake certi. can be had, now,
for this matter, how do the VO in India, get the Certificates verified?

im sure majority of us wud want to knw abt it.

- Degree certificates are whatever is requested in your visa specific checklist.

London, for example, does not ask for original certificates and in the paragraph at the front says any non-originals should be notarized, so for London it should be:
Degree certificate = notarized copy
Degree transcript (marksheets) = original in a sealed University envelope

However you will need to consult your own visa specific checklist to confirm what they want, however I would think most are the same.

If you sent only a notarized copy of your degree transcript then they can fail you on this. Alternatively they may be lenient and accept a notarized copy or they may send a letter asking for the originals to be sent (in which case you might be able to get your University to send them directly to the VO).

Hi,

I have requested for my Uni to post me the trascripts in a sealed envelope but haven't received them yet.  Upon checking with them thrice, I was told that they have already posted it a month ago and I should have received them by now.  If I make a fresh application for issuance of another set of transcripts it will take additional month or longer.  The problem is I'm living in another city now and unable to visit my home town too often.

I have the original Degree Cert, Marksheets and original transcripts that are signed and stamped but not in a sealed envelope.

Rest all documents are ready and I don't want to waste time requesting sealed trascripts least the 1000 quota and cap for my NOC gets filled up.

Do you think I could submit my transcripts without them being in a university sealed envelope?

Please advise.
