How Quota is Calculated ???

Hi,

Sorry for asking a noob question. I was wondering how this quota of "500" is calculated by CIC. Do they just count the first 500 applications that they receive OR first ELIGIBLE 500 applications??

Actually, I am yet to file under 1122 and today the count has already reached 420. I am not sure whether my application will fall under the quota or not ??

So, is there a possibility that my application might get selected, even after the quota has reached, if there are some ineligible applications??

Any thoughts???

It's the first ELIGIBLE 500 applications.

If you submit an application after the cap has been reached - your application will be returned to you.

500 / NOC.
if for noc 1122 its reached 420 means 420 applications accepted that means 420 people will elligible to process now.
once quota reached the 500 numbers CIC will note (CAP Reached) on website.
if your application reached late once quota is full than CIC NS will return your complete package.

you can try if package is ready, if reached and accepted befor CAP will reached, than you are lucky, otherwise waste of some few money of courriers and notary etc, fees will return back to you as it is (if CAP reached and your application is not accepted by CIO NS).
