dear all,
could you please tell me how often we can write for visa office to get an update and follow our case?
my friend case is showing in process since June 2010 but each time she is writing for them,average one per month, they say it is under rutine background check! she is afraid to not write to them as may be she miss the mail but on the other hand she does not want to disturb people there.

Dear. Patience is key in immigration process. It may take longer than expected but better avoid communication as much as possible. It will not speed up the process.

Well for unusual delay, do send an email and wait for reply. Don't keep sending mails unless replies. Keep eye on online status.

each time she received the reply.so onece per month is ok or is too much?!
