Hello,
This is my first post to this forum. I'm an indian national and am currently living in Kuwait. I have applied for an Advanced diploma in Marketting management at sheridan college which is for 3 years. I am planning to join the January course. After the 2nd year of the diploma I plan to shift to a degree program in a proper university. I heard that many people are doing this. Correct me if I am wrong. I am yet to recieve acceptance from my university because the TOEFL scores are going to reach them at the end of July. I wanted to know weather anyone is using a repressentative to fill the forms? Will this course from Sheridan make sence to the immigration officer? Also, is it compulsary to write an SOP (statement of purpose) If I do write an SOP is the topic about my purpose of coming to Canada and studying in canada? I am scared about doing the entire thing all on my own. Really nervous as to what if I get rejected! :/ Can anyone forward me a sample SOP on my id rsakhuja1993 @ yahoo.com and can you guys give me some information as to how not to screw up while giving my documents for study permit??

You are in the right place and i know that you shall get all the help you need.
Why dont you work towards getting the admission letter which you might as well miss and then towards getting the study visa. Then the rest will follow once you are in canada.
I wish you knew the stress that students go through in pursuit of the student visa.
May you succeed.
