Hi All,

I am planning to take the English test IELTS and was wondering how much time (days or hours) is needed to go over the study material. I have previously taken TOEFL and GRE, any suggestions would be appreciated so I can schedule my exam accordingly, also any good books to refer.

Thanks.

If you have taken GRE already then IELTS is a piece of cake. Not more than 2 weeks are needed. But Speaking practice vary

i registered two weeks earlier but prepared for two days only and got 7.5 overall(though it is expired now). After taking GRE I realized IELTS is nothing when compared to it.

I do not know but I think 2 weeks are enough. All the best.

Basically, it depended on your native language. is it English you will prepare extreme two weeks but if else you need to have more effort. In one hand your English level is important, if you have skills 1 or 2 months are enough, however, for preparing IELTS only doing work needed.
Good luck
