Hi Everybody,

i have sent done my medicals and sent my passports on 13th july 2009 at CHC New Delhi. Please can any one answer my following questions:
1) how much time it will take to stamp the passports and return it, as I want to travel in the month of August.
2) Since i have done my medicals does it mean that they have already completed my processing?
3)  Will they ask for further document at this stage.

Thanks in advance.

trends in trackitt suggest 35-40 days

quite likely. only meds need to be reviewed
3)  Will they ask for further document at this stage.
highly unlikely, but it is recommended to hold the Proof of Funds until the PP is returned.

Thanks in advance.

Dear aanban,
It is now nearly 8 weeks since I had sent my passport+RPRF Fees+Medicals+Other supporting documents.
Please advise how long should I wait before contacting CHC New Delhi for inquiring about my status.
Please reply soon.

Hi ,

I sent my passport and medicals on Mar first week 2009 .

In APR i got a mail from the immigration officer asking fr some more docs.

It reached them on Apr 28th.

I got RFPRF request on May last week.

The RFPRF draft reached them on Jun 4th.

I got my Visa and PR on 25th!! .(Visa was stamped on 17th Jun)

So if u dont get any bugging letter from them asking fr more docs i guess 30days for RFPRF request.

If u have a;ready sent the RFPRF then max 40 days(in india) !!!!
